Ray’s Indoor Bike Park 11.01.09 – Video Inside

snapshot6I spent another Sunday afternoon at Ray’s Indoor Bike Park in Cleveland, OH. I took the Cove STD this time so that I could pedal it around the newly expanded XC course and practice my technical riding on the skinnies in the skills area. The STD with the Elka Stage 5 shock is really a special bike. It felt great on all of the obstacles and with the Low Speed Compression on the Elka cranked up it pedaled extremely well on the few laps around the XC loop. Is it too early to be looking forward to the next season of downhilling?

I am admittedly not going to be tearing up any slopestyle events in the near future, but I’m not a total putz on the jumps. The Cove Sanchez is becoming more comfortable and confidence inspiring every time I throw a leg over it. I’ve got an interesting new handlebar on the Sanchez that I swear gives me greater control while also greatly reducing hand fatigue. It is called the GnarBar and its made by the Simple Pleasures Bike Company. I’ll be doing a Product Showcase video on this handlebar soon but for now you can check it out HERE. I’m progressing quickly this year hitting lines bigger and with more style than ever before and I can’t deny that having quality gear is a big part of that. Enough talking, on to the video.
