I am uniquely qualified to test body armor since I usually figure out a way to bail at least once during a day of riding. For the upcoming season I’ll be relying on these interesting products from Crash Pads to protect me from the cuts, scrapes and bruises when I take a digger.
The Chest & Spine Protector will be used for light freeride trail days while the Upper Body Protector and the Pro Pant with Tail Shield will be used for full on downhill and freeride days. I expect this gear to be breathable, comfortable and non-restrictive. Time and extensive use will tell. Stop back often for all the updates on the Crash Pads gear as it is posted.
